I'd say yes. Widely available, they've answered my questions, and you can stay in the Pro Plan line to drop to Pro Plan low cal products in the off season and my dogs have had no issues.

The trouble with Jack, is that he’ll eat anything. His favorite is to kill a woodchuck, bury it, and come back to it a few days later for a snack.
Then the battle begins of trying to get the carcass away from him.

A number of years ago a friend, who owned a veterinary practice visited the Purina plant. He said that while he was there, the plant refused an entire rail car of ingredients because it did not pass their inspection. Perhaps that was a marketing ploy, but either way an entire rail car is big bucks. So he always recommended Purina and also Science Diet.
The food has worked well for our hunting dogs so far.

I fed Inukshuk for a long time, until I could no longer obtain it locally, great stuff. Feed Diamond Performance now.

I used to use Purina Pro Plan when I was NSTRA trialing. I switched to Blue Buffalo when it became available in our area. I have used it ever since.

I have heard good reviews on the INUKSHUK brand but we do not have it locally.

A number of years ago there were several NSTRA trial dogs that died from what was determined to be from one of the brands mentioned on here.

I used to order Gracie’s 34 lb. bags of Pro-Plan from Chewy. It was very convenient.

Like Dean, we've not had a problem with ProPlan so far. We order it from Amazon and I'm careful to inspect the bags for date and damage upon arrival. Also keep an eye out for recalls.
