I got out of the truck to take the escapee back to his kennel. As I walked up on the point, five, yes five, grouse flushed. I'm not going to say that the pup held point, but I didn't care. I called the pup to the truck but he ran home on his own. Morris didn't seem surprised.

I’m guessing Morris won’t need to take those long trips to the upper midwest for grouse this year.
