Tryon was a 'major/major' Parker dealer and distributor. When we copied the records for The Parker Story, one Tryon order ran for 11 pages in the Order Books. It could fairly be said they were the equivalent of an A & F in downtown Philadelphia. Interestingly, a fair number of 28 gauge Parkers went to Tryon's and to William Wagner & Son in downtown Washington, DC, that wound up on the Jersey and Maryland marshes in pursuit of railbirds.

Nice find Craig! You're not the only one with a nice Trojan two-barrel set! I know Mills has one in 20g as do I. 20g, 28" and 26" bbls, Miller single trigger, checkered butt, straight grip. Gun shoots great! You'll enjoy your too I'm sure.

I’ve got three two barrel sets now that are or appear to be factory correct . This Trogan , a VH 12 2 frame with 28” and 32” barrels as well as a Grade 0 top lever 10 with 26” and 30” barrels . The 10 gauge while wearing the 26” barrels will most likely get the call this year to slay a Wild Virginia Man Eating Whitetail !
