Straight Grip Trojans ?

There was a very nice Trojan 20 gauge that sold this past week on Gun Broker with a straight stock ,the Trigger Guard appeared to my eye to have had an extension added which led me to believe it started life with a Pistol Grip Stock but I could have been wrong ??? Still was a very nice gun maybe the Gentleman that bought it is one of us and would share some pictures with us !

I have a straight grip 20g Trojan, single trigger, checkered butt, two barrel set (26” & 28”) that will be in the display next week at our Rock Mountain SxS event. I think Mills has one too.

Never said it was. But why would someone spend that much $$ on a 1920-something Trojan when they could have just ordered a graded gun for possibly less $$.

How many times have we asked ourselves that question about several guns. Because people have more money than brains.

And in that guns case, the gun was likely put together after a new Parker could be purchased.

Some folks (like me) think Trojans have an almost classic look to them with a lack of the frame sculpting of any grade above it. We have all seen examples of "upgraded" Trojans with loads of wonderful engraving, fantastic wood, et al.
I think they are a wonderful pallette for such enhancements.
