I also use slip on pads to lengthen some guns' LOP, when there is a recoil pad already on the gun but not long enough for me (34" sleeves). But, I use the leather Kick Killer brand of pads. They add 1/2" and can be removed easily, but I do hate covering up pretty wood in the back end of a buttstock, even for a few hours. They do work, though!
