Maybe so but buy a shell pouch and belt . Those stands would get in my way when I positioned on the stations . And while that sounds a bit anal it's true I find anything in front on me when I'm shooting to make me feel like somethings in the way . Same thing when they used to put those little stands at the 16 yard line in trap . And part of the game is shooting when you're comfortable .

With Briley the chokes are internal threads, you can simply buy what you want and they send it to you. You can even exchange chokes with Briley’s for just shipping.

Usually when ever I've had a gun tubes I had Kolar include skeet and just a hair tighter for each tube .And that's about all a tubed gun of mine will be used for , You are quite correct in your opinion I just prefer to stick with Kolar they were always good to me with any problems that may have arisen . Not to say Briley wouldn't be as well , but for skeet tubes I have a brand loyalty

Well, I'm glad to say we can't go back and change it. They add a bit of nostalgia to these shotgun games. Skeet sure has come a long way.

Scott has correctly mentioned that Kolar screw chokes are not convenient or even acceptable for sporting clays because you almost have to remove the tube to change the choke, unless they have changed something. Craig, can you change from skeet to "tight skeet" while the tubes are in the gun, easily?

Dunno never tried ! Don’t really care for that matter . Tight skeet would be for doubles at all stations or shoot offs anyway .

The other thing to consider is I do not think you can use a tubed gun in the small bore events in Vintage Skeet.
