I have a 4 frame 10ga with 32in barrels that are marked 6lb 8oz. It is a grade 3 top leaver hammer gun with a skeleton butt plate. Carvel

That one kinda fits in the turn of the century or a bit earlier live pigeon guns category does it not ?

Yes, the Grade 3, #4 frame gun needs a PGCA letter. Parker made such guns for their contract shooters as well as the general hunting public.
