Steve, what is the gauge, current choking and configuration of the gun you're considering having done? What do you hope to accomplish by having the screw-ins installed?
IMHO, if you were to have screw-ins installed, the gun's value would be enhanced to you and degraded to a potential buyer---until he owned it and then the cycle would be repeated. The Repro on the right in the pic below is my 12-ga. Sporting Clays Classic with factory screw-ins, it's the most versatile gun I own. |
