My vote would be that the muzzles were only cleaned up not cut.

I would say uncut but I would measure the length of the choke. Mod/Full chokes in a 26" gun is not unheard of. Remember paper shells and fiber wadding.

Uncut. I agree with Dean and Dave. FWIW, I have a 20 VHE, 26", that's M/F.

Maybe it's the angle of the photo, or more likely my old eyes, but to me that right barrel looks a LOT more open than the left one. Like they could be bored cylinder & full. I'd like to know what measuring the chokes turns up.
Dean makes a good point about the termination of the matting. The termination just doesn't flow; looks as if it was added. That bead (I love the color) looks a bit large. So, the last 2 inches of the barrels make me think somebody had this gun setup just the way THEY wanted. From the factory or later? Last edited by Hal Sheets; 08-24-2016 at 08:40 AM..
