John. I have found "The Gun Glove" to be the best glove on the market for the shooting that we do. Check out their web site @ www.thegunglove.com.
All the best,
Buddy

I've heard that gripswells are no longer available. I love the SxS models with the extra heat protection. Anyone have any information on availability?

I've always used golf gloves, whenever I wore gloves for shooting.

Foot joy has two Black Golf Gloves. One is the rain glove, thin and a good shooting glove. Other is their winter Golf glove, same design and appearance but thicker. Never tried the winter model.

Good thing about either one, they come in sizes . Dicks stocks them 21 bucks .

John I have a pair of deerskin gloves from orvis. They are very soft and fit my hand "like a glove". Seems like you need something that provides dexterity and these do. Whether or not they are thick enough to protect you from the heat I don't know.
