John I bought the X-Stream inserts from Ballistic Products (link below). When I use them I seat the wad in normal fashion, I then take the shell out of the loader and drop the X-Stream into the shot cup. Then I put the shell back in the loader and bring the drop tube down until it touches the top of the X-Stream and drop the shot. The X-Stream is never crushed by the pressure of seating the wad.
