Brian - Dumb question... How do you turn the screws in so they can be oriented for the final slotting?
No prob John ,Ill help you out ..with the oversize heads mentioned
-You cut a shallow usable slot in the new screw
- turn the screw in to just a hair of final destination
- mark your final slot ,mark your final depth
- cut final slot
- cut close to final depth
- install screw to proper orientation
- carefully file /finish to flush .
