Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Hausmann's Great Northeastern Side by Side Championship
History will tell us that the Fox shooter's won the Great Northeastern Side by Side Championship at Hausmann's Hidden Hollow last week-end in Pennsylvania. Congratulations to a bunch of fine shooters! However, my personal observation was that the forcasted nasty weather kept many Parker gentlemen indoors on Sunday. Had they ventured out, in large numbers with their fine fowling pieces, history might have told a different story.
Since the four of us had ventured from Minnesota for the shoot, we decided to dress for the weather and shoot the main event on Sunday. We were treated to unexpected sunny skies!
The Hunter's Clays, on Friday and Saturday, were set in a wooded setting that truly mimicked shooting at live birds. Being that we traveled so far, the four of us shoot all the guages except the 10 bore. All the targets were fair and there were enough true pairs to wring out the best in a side by side shotgunner.
Ernie and his sons changed all the stations on Saturday night (in the rain and wind) so that the main event gave us all a different look.
Again, most of the targets were set in the woods and between the trees.
The exceptions were the three stations on the pond. The middle station presented 3 true pair of oncomers. The other two stations offered targets that truly tested the long range shooter. The longer of the two caused me to go 1 for 6 while shooting a 12 gauge. Reality set in the next day when I was able to break 3 of 6 with a 3 pound 12 oz English made .410. I guess it wasn't the targets that caused my misses.
All in all the shoot was loads of fun! A big thank you to Ernie Hausmann and his family for treating us to a great time. We will be back next year.
Next up is the UP shoot in Segola, Michigan and then the Puglisi Shoot in Duluth, Minnesota.

Coincidentally Mike, at the pond I broke 3 of 6 of the left to right crossers, first a single and then a pair, with my .410 Skeeter with skeet chokes.
