Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

DB Parker Bros Shot Gun Serial No. 2451
Hello folks,
Had posted pictures of a parker shotgun a few weeks ago. Was suggested I go to PGCA for more info. I want to thank those who posted back to me and Mark Conrad for info I received back. Mark sent me a letter about the gun for no charge. This gun was completed in November 1874. Was a Under lifter hammer 12 gauge. It was featured Laminated Steel barrels with a length of 30". It's specifications were Length of pull: 14 1/4", Drop at heel: 2 5/8". No weight was given. It is either a Quality 0 or Quality 1 gun. I checked the length of pull and drop of heel and this appears to be correct with this gun. It looks like the gun may have been reconfigured with DAMASCUS STEEL BARRELS because it shows Damascus steel on the barrel. Also it looks to have a walnut stock. Have not shot the gun in 40 years but would like some advise if it would be safe and what kind of ammo I should use. Any further info would be appreciated.

RST makes a really nice 2 1/2" light load (low pressure) that would work in your gun after you have it checked out by a gunsmith to be sure it is safe to shoot
