This is a true reflection of my situation. The last "had to be bought" for me is a DHE once owned by Sir Frederick William Borden, an important Canadian figure. The rib is factory engraved Sir Frederick Borden and supported by research letter. I have been trying to glean information on full provenance and that will take some time. I have finally got myself one room and it isn't all that large but it qualifies as a gun room. At the moment it is full of non-gun stuff as I am in the process of moving between residences. Guns are still in the steel tombs but they will soon enough see the light of day to be admired rather than hidden. Cheers, Jack

My big goal is to spend the month of October chasing Grouse with Daisy at my place in the Upper Peninsula. October seems a long ways off but it will be here shortly.

I have decided to keep the Grade 2 lifter circa 1880 so that's my last Parker....until tomorrow when it will be a grade 1 TL hammer gun with beautiful laminated barrels. I'm being hammered by hammer guns
