Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Did I Get a Good Deal
Gents,
I'm thrilled about acquiring my first Parker! From what I have gathered, and with the assistance of the fine gentlemen here, this GHE started life in 1902. It is a 12 gauge, not sure yet of frame size. Weight today is 6 lbs, 11 oz. It is currently configured with 26 in. Reproduction barrels with Q1 and Q2 chokes. I may add Briley's. The gun has been completely restored. I'm purchasing from Robin Hollow and have bought from them before, an MX-8 at the Vintagers a few years back. I enjoyed meeting Bill Hadfield and speaking with him again. According to Bill, he guesses the restoration was done by Turbull and from the pics, that sounds about right. The wood is gorgeous and the dimensions are 14, 1 5/8, 2 5/8. It comes with the original 28 in. Damascus barrels but they are no longer fit to the gun. I plan to use the Parker for hunting and clays fun. I have attempted to attach some photos. I would love to hear your thoughts. Now, I must wait 5 loooong days to get her home!
Next step, join PGCA! Happy to (soon) be a Parker Owner!
Joe
