Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
hello everyone, this is my first post and first parker 10 gauge double barrel. my great, great great grandfather bought it i believe in 1883. i think that is what the serial number says. i think its a grade 0, 3 frame twist steel barrel. any information about finding parts would be nice. one hammer hits, the other one moves weak. the weak hammer the screw was replaced its much smaller than the other one.

What a nice Parker to have been in the family all these years. Those are some heavy barrels at 5 10. It could be a ten gauge. I did notice the left lock has not been replaced correctly. Could you post the serial number? It is on the trigger guard bow and if that is unreadable, it is on the forend iron.

I believe the serial number is 36358. I really want to dissemble the gun clean it real good reassemble it and see what parts need to be replaced I want to say the hammers don't fully go back. Is there a diagram on the proper way to strip this shotgun It's definitely a 10 gauge I believe my great great grandfather John Richardson was the one purchased it in Minnesota Minneapolis.

IsWhen my dad passed away (ALS) at 54, my older brother who doesn't shoot inherited dad's 16 ga VH. I basically grew up shooting grouse and woodcock and native pheasants in the Neponsett meadows with this 16. Anyway my brother wouldn't give me the gun, I'd have to buy it from him. Really pissed me off but that's the kind of guy he us. Anyway I bought it as it had many good memories and I wanted to keep it in the family. My grandson will inherit it. when I pass and while logan doesn't shoot clays he's one heck of a bird shooter so I know it will be put to continued good use. Years agoi had Larry DelGrego fully restore it as by then it was pretty beaten up from all the good use. Got to keep these old Parkers in the family.
