Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

New to me Parker Question
I just recently acquired a very nice original Parker 20 gauge DHE with 30 inch barrels, straight stock, double triggers, checkered butt, splinter forend, with no safety. Chokes are .027 in both barrels. It matches the Parker letter exactly except for LOP which may or may not be a misprint as it has the called for checkered butt. My question to all of you is would the no safety make the gun more or less valuable? The gun is in very nice all original condition with very pretty wood. I don't believe I've ever seen a 20 gauge with no safety before so I'm assuming it is a rather rare option.

I have a 30" VH 20 with no safety so I can't say how valuable or rare a no safety 20 is but I bet it's not very common. I can't hunt with it but it's perfect to shoot clays with. Sounds like a sweet gun. Enjoy.
