Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

LSB Auction
Did anyone besides me get an LSB auction catalog? Kinda caught me by surprise. Very nice catalog and has almost 1400 lots listed. March 1&2. It is called their Premium auction and will be held 4 times a year. It may explain why there has been an apparent drop in availability of high end guns in the past few months in their biweekly auction.
Not many doubles and saw no Parkers, but there really are some very collectible guns. A lot of really old ones, many rifles and a huge number of pistols. Two that popped out at me were a Winchester 1 of 1000 and a Model 1873 with serial # 7. They have a lot of listings with estimates in the 100k to 200k range. Most guns that I am familiar with look to have reasonable estimates.
Auction is live and phone. Saw no mention of online.

This is the first I've heard of LSB doing a premier type auction. I do know that the owner of LSB moved part of the operation to Cody Wyoming. I wonder if some of these guns have any connection to the Cody museum?
Definitely something to keep an eye on!
