Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

New to site
Hello everyone, I'm Larry Welch and live in North Carolina. I was raised following setters and pointers after quail until our population dwindled away. I've hunted about anything that can be in my area but am primarily a waterfowler now. I still chase doves and turkeys and the occasional deer or black bear, man's gotta eat. I've hunted with 311s, Rossi hammer guns, and have a 1906 model 1900 Remington that I've been doing a little hunting with lately.
I've recently purchased a Parker from 1907 that's been refurbished. (Should be here next week) I wanted a shooter. I'm sure my pictures of the Parker in salt air, swampy and wet conditions is going to make some cringe, but I refuse to own a safe queen. I've been hunting a sxs for awhile looking for that one that just spoke to me. I'm at the point in life where the sunrises and sunsets and the friendships and the critters being fooled into surrendering for my freezer are the most important parts of my outdoor adventures. Why not do it with an American legend. I look forward to taking possession of the sxs of my dreams and seeing if we can make a few come true.

Welcome to the site! You'll find the knowledge base here is exceptional and members love to answer questions and offer advice. Congratulations on the Parker. Be sure to post pictures when it arrives. Membership to the PGCA is inexpensive and allows you access to several members only forums including For Sale listings. Another benefit is the Parker Pages quarterly magazine that has great stories and pictures contributed by members, and it is included in the price of membership. We look forward to your participation!
