Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Leg O Mutton question
Hello All, I recently purchased a LOM case and was wondering if there was any way to identify it. It came with a hand written tag, presumably from seller, that states it was the original case for Parker 200947. Not sure of the configurations of that gun. Only marks I have found are stamped on the leather strap, inside the sewn area, that buckles the hinged end, which read 28, 1, 16G. I did figure out what those numbers mean. Hoping it my be an Abercrombie and Fitch or from the Parker listed on the tag. Any input is greatly appreciated.
P.S. Luckily I do have Parker which fits the number configuration.

The better makers of leg-of-mutton gun cases from H.H. Heiser down to
RED HEAD --
would have their logo prominently displayed on their cases. Leg-of-mutton cases made for Abercrombie & Fitch Co. would have their logo stamped on them --
My best guess would be, that whoever made your case, the 16G is the model number, the 28 means it is made for 28-inch barrels and the 1 that it is a case for one set of barrels.
