Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Morning in the popple
Hello everyone. I'm new to the board, as well as being a new Parker owner, so I thought I would introduce myself by posting a picture of my "new" Parker and the first bird I've taken with her.
I had a chance to take her out to a popple (or poplar to those in the rest of the country) thicket in northern Wisconsin last weekend, and had a little luck. Loads of 3 drams of FFg and 1 1/8 oz. of 7 1/2 pattern well, and did the trick on this morning.
The 12 ga. Parker is a grade G hammer gun, with 30 inch damascus barrels, #1 frame, with a serial number of 45,xxx, made in 1885.
Sorry for the low resolution of the picture, but unfortunately the only camera I had on me at the time was my cell phone.
I've greatly enjoyed browsing the board till now, and hopefully I'll have more pictures to post in the future.
