Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Woods Flaming Abby
Well, we said goodbye to another faithful friend on Wednesday. Woods Flaming Abby was almost 16 yoa. She had been in the house with us for at least the last six years. I had been sleeping(?) on an air mattress or the couch next her bed for the last year. As all old dogs do, she had to be taken out multiple times during the night. She could not be left alone the last few months. So spouse or myself were with her 24-7. Another in the line of setters I have had since 1981 left us. We hope that all the birds hold tight, and she hunts the singles until she get into another covey every day. Hunt in peace Abby Lou.

William, I hope your memories of Abby and the years you had with her can help ease the pain of loss. I know that if you've had dogs as long as you have, this is not a new experience for you, but I also know that each dog is unique, and your time with them special. I'm sure you and Abby made the most of your 16 years together.
