I would like to direct this question to the knowledgeable , and experienced patrons of this board , as especially it pertains to the Parker Gun only.

Who would you consider to be the Best or most recommended craftsman for regulating a Factory Parker single Trigger ?

I have a friend with one that appears to have gone awry on him, but I find no apparent fault with the gun.

He insist that it will frequently not fire the second barrel, I have dry fired it repeatedly with snap caps. I have just come in from firing it with 8 target loads in various modes, fast , 2-3 second delay as in finishing a swimming cripple; bang bang, as in trying to take a double and no problem.

Considering the nature of the Parker trigger could he be "trapping" the trigger blade ?

I wold appreciate insight from any knowledgeable members here.

Don't sell a non working single trigger Parker too cheap. I sold a vent rib trap way too cheap to Dave Suponski and it has worked well ever since. It never worked for me, but it sure works for him.

Send the gun to Dan and Kenny. They specialize in Millers but are very knowledgeable in all others.

Thanks Mr. Murphy, and I completely understand..... I can't find any fault, but witnessed my friend having the failure to fire problem...

I am going to get out here at the ranch today and shoot 25 rounds or more today....
I have some experience with the Parker trigger on guns I have previously owned over the past 35 years.

One more recommendation for Classic Gun Stocks. They fixed a Miller Single trigger on my wife's VH.

I have one that never fails to fire both barrels however it would fail when others fired it, diccovered they were not releasing the trigger entirely and once they did that no issues.
I know it could be numerous other issues but this is a cheap try.
I have had another PST apart and it is like a Swiss watch, very finicky.

After using the gun myself yesterday, I agree that he does not have a trigger problem , but rather hand or grip problem......The release motion/distance necessary for the Parker ST to activate the setting process is indeed different from many newer designs.....

I fired at 50 pairs of double targets with the piece and encountered no mishaps. Two friends also fired the gun at 10 pairs each with no problem.....

We have resolved the problem by me relieving him of the gun, and him returning to his more modern O/U's

I would like to think everyone here who generously offered their input and suggestions....

Look at length of pull. Not enough pull with a Single trigger can result in "fat finger". This can be a common issue with guns that were DT and then converted to ST in a rear position. A pad can be a good solution for such guns.
