Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Anyone Remember Jack Turner from Grand Prairie TX back about 45 Years Ago
As the Title Line says: Anyone Remember Jack Turner from Grand Prairie TX from about 45 Years Ago?
I'm cleaning out some of my stuff and found several letters from Jack. They're dated 1980 and 1981.
He said he has owned all grades of Parker's from Trojan to A1Special in most gauges. I asked him about a nice Parker I had at the time, an AAHE16 with damascus barrels. Some called it the Terrell gun that had "TERRELL" in the damascus pattern on both barrels breech to muzzle.
He did recall something written up about a gun just like that but could not recall any details.
His last letter dated "6 - 15 - 81" saying 1980 was a disaster for him. That was the last I heard from him.
His address was 101 Byrdway Street Grand Prairie TX 75051. I Google Mapped that address. I'm sure it wasn't that way in 1981.
It was a real pleasure writing back and forth with Jack back then. Known for his "Lovely Doubles".
So, anyone remember Jack Turner? Thanks.

Bill, do you still own the Terrell gun or is it now in the possession of the “Golden Towel Guy”??
