Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Metal piece loose inside receiver....?
Gentlemen,
My friend, who used to belong to our organization, has a Parker VHE 20 ga. - a latter gun, that makes a noise.
I handled it and when the safety is on, when you move it up and down, there is a metal clinking sound coming from inside the receiver. IF you push the safety forward, it stops!
Is there a linkage that slides between the safety lever & sear, or...? It had been redone by Turnbull, and returned to him soon thereafter as the triggers did not function correctly. He also had it restocked by another person later.
My friend is now concerned about his "newest" problem with the gun. Should he send it to a Parker 'expert' for evaluation?
Thank you all in advance for any help for his Parker. I will let him know your answers.
Sincerely,
Wes

There is a pushrod that actuates the safety when the toplever is moved to the right. When the toplever returns to the center and the safety is in the 'ON' position, the pushrod is no longer held securely between the locking mechanism and the safety lever. Also, the hole in the stock must be large enough to allow the pushrod to travel uninhibited, thus, making the noise.
