Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Help with value of restored Parker guns
I fall between a collector and a hunter and I have found a 28 gauge Parker Remington skeet gun that was restored by one of the big name restoration firms. It is a GH straight stock beavertail single trigger skeet in skeet out checkered butt 26 inch. The argument is the restored versus origional as to value. Please help me with a range of value. This is my first Parker purchase even though I have been a member of the Association for a few years. The gun is not perfect so I would not be afraid to hunt with it. For the first time in 20 years I have wild birds on my place again in SW Georgia and the resource is to precious to hunt with anything but a small gauge Parker and a English Setter!

One word of caution George...
Check to be certain that the serial number supports that it is in fact a Grade 2 and was made with 26 inch barrels and that it was originally optioned with a BTFE with single trigger and a straight stock. You didn't mention if it has ejectors or an extractor.
A well-known "big name restoration firm" has been known to upgrade VH guns to guns as you describe.
Best, Dean
