Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Minneapolis Gun Club Vintage Gun Shoot
I just arrived home from the Vintage Gun Shoot at the Minneapolis Gun Club located in Prior Lake, MN. It was their first attempt at hosting a shooting event for vintage (defined as guns manufactured prior to 1965) guns. They had 4 categories, Pump Guns, Semi-Autos, Guns with Cutts Compensators and Side by Sides. Hunter Davis won high overall shooting his side by side to best all the other "new fangled" repeaters. Of interest to the readers of this post, a Parker gun won the trap event with a 50 out of 50 and also won the 5-stand event with a 42 out of 50. The gun is a 101 year old Parker VH #2 frame that had been color cased and rust blued by Oscar Gaddy and had been restocked by Doug Mann. It was fun shoot

That's a great idea Mike, including vintage pumps, Cutts comps. and autos. Certainly gets more people involved in a fun event. Wish it was'nt so damn far away.
