Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Hello! New Member
Hello! Just introducing myself. Recently acquired a Parker hammer top action 10 gauge. outside of the barrel is in rough shape with significant pitting, but bores are bright and shiny. Finally got it taken down for basic cleaning. Locks up tight and it's on face. Chip in the toe, but that's just cosmetic. Everything functions smoothly.
Serial # 78530 all matching (according to the database made 1893)
No grade stamp (so I figure 0 or 1 grade)
Frame size 3 (barely noticeable)
(The other SxS is a E. James & Co Birmingham England 10 Ga.... another project)
I will have some questions about properly helping out a slightly deformed trigger guard. it's been bent in a few places and can be scary during install and disassembly.
Anyway, Cheers!
-Ethan

A worthy project gun Ethan. The exterior of the barrels may clean up nicely with a Big 45 Frontier pad. I would have the barrel wall thickness measured to make sure the bores havent been excessively honed. There is a great thread in the Reloading forum on loading for the 10 gauge.
