Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Stolen beavertail forend
in past threads i described my missing beavertail forend as "lost". We know it was stolen and offered for sale on one of the online gun dealerships or EBAY on April 17, 2011. I am hoping the Parker owner or gunsmith that purchased it was not aware of it being stolen at the time-- but now you know. This is an integral part of a 112 year old double (with all serial numbered parts matching). It has been cherished and very well cared for in near excellent condition. The serial number is 9---0 and hopefully has not been removed.
The Parker owners that I have come in contact with are honorable people and would certainly respect the integrity of this gun set. .
I am hoping the person who has my beavertail in his possession will contact me and arrange for its return. I will double any expenses, no questions asked.

First, let me say, I hope you get your forend back. How in the world did someone steal your forend?
