Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Parker Research letter questions
Hi folks, new to the Parker world. Just purchased two Parkers and looking to get them shot worthy again. After receiving the research letters, I'm curious about a couple of details. On the 1906 Hammerless it says "special instructions were Silvers butt pad, word safe in silver, Dam under rib and stock like old gun". Butt pad I understand, but what does the other 3 things mean?
Will post pics and more questions once the guns ship to me next week, thanks in advance!

This I want to see!
For the safety selector button position, the word SAFE will be made with silver. Next question: will it be a piece that is inlet into the steel or will silver thread be worked into the engraving?
The rib under the barrels will be made of Damascus steel. Wondering why that will be requested? Hard to see it or what difference it makes to function or aesthetics.
The owner has (or had) one with stock dimensions they liked enough to ask Parker Bros. to duplicate it for this one you are getting.
Looking forward to pictures.
