Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Spacers
Andrew Sacco started a thread on here earlier about the use of beans as for lack of a better term a spacer . I read it and then proceded to state what I used for the same thing . About a month after that I was in the grocery store and bought a bag of the small red beans think they were less than a dollar . Anyway the stayed in my desk drawer at the shop , I had planned to try them in my 10 gauge loads at some point . Well earlier this week I ran out of 16 and 20 gauge 1/8' nitro cards so not wanting to stop until I loaded all my 10 gauge empties I pressed the red beans into service .
Initially my 1 1/4 ounce SR7625 load had one 1/8" nitro card in the bottom of the shotcup and I'd put a 10 gauge overshot card over the shot so my crimp was nice a flat . I'm quite anal about not wanting a concave or sunken crimp .
Anyway I tried putting 3 , 4 and 5 beans in the bottom of the shotcup and four in my loads gives me a very very nice flat closed crimp and no over shot card needed .
