Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Pros/Cons Connecticut/Galazan bbls
Hope everyone is doing well. Been out of the loop (depressed) for a while since upland bird season closed. I am going to try and run my GH 20ga damascus over to Mike Allee Friday night to see if he thinks I should continue to shoot the old gal (pitting and a couple of dents), and see if he can tighten up the stock. When I first decided to shoot the gun people (no one here) gave me the options of sleeving the bbls, using the briley inserts for a guage down, using only bp, but no one ever mentioned that there are new reproduction bbls out there.
I noticed there is a lot of excitement about Simmons making bbls for $2800, so I looked around. I love the idea of 16ga tubes on my O frame. What is the opinion of the Galazan bbls sold on the Connecticut site for $1900?

It is my understanding that they promised Sept 2009 delivery, but have yet to deliver any and will not comit to a delivery date. $1900 unfinished and not fitted to your gun is about the same as $2,800 rust blued and fitted. We will see.
