Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Parker Bro Trojan 12 GA
Folks,
I'm new to the forum and absolutely new to shotguns. I have owned and used centerfire and rimfire rifles including Doubles quite a bit. I had hoped to someday get a decent but affordable SxS double trigger shotgun to enter the shotgun world and at the same time get more double trigger practice for my Nitro Express doubles.
I retired one week ago and my very thoughtful boss, instead of a Rolex ( I joke) gave me something infinitely better.
A SxS Parker Bro. Trojan 12 GA he has owned for over thirty years.
I know little about these guns but it appears to be in remarkable shape. I do have a good friend up here in Alaska that knows far more than I about such guns and I will have him check the gun over and measure the chokes and chamber length and give advice on what type of ammo to use in the gun. I plan on learning to shoot clay targets at our local range and as I said get some much needed double trigger practice in.
The gun has beautiful case coloring intact. The serial number is 1809xx. The barrels are 26 inch.
I have read a couple threads on here to try and learn about Parker Bro guns but as I said, I know little at present.
I will try and post up some pictures of the barrel flats and stampings if anyone would like to comment on their meaning.
Cheers
Jim
