2014 Distinguished Service Award Nominations

A reminder to please make your nominations for the 2014 Distinguished Service Awards.

Nominees must be a PGCA Member.

You may nominate as many members as you think are deserving of this special recognition but you may make only one nomination per member.

Nominations in this case are similar to casting votes but we do not have a limited field of candidates - our field of candidates is about 1355 members strong.

Nominations are accumulative over three years. At the end of the nomination period we look over the most recent three years and count the total number of nominations per nominee. The two members with the highest number of nominations will receive the Distinguished Service Award. In the case of a tie three members will receive the award.

Who, in your mind, has distinguished him or herself by their deeds, spirit, support, hard work, and dedication over and above the norm? These are the kinds of PGCA members who may deserve such recognition by their peers.

To make a nomination go to our Home page and click on the "Awards & Recognitions" tab and please fill out the hyper-linked form. Please include a few sentences telling why you believe your candidate is deserving of this prestigious award.

The Distinguished Service Award Committee includes Chris Lien, Robin Lewis and myself and the nominations come to our email addresses.

Seated BOD members and PGCA Officers are ineligible for this award while they are in office.
