Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Stock Blank Thickness for a "0" Frame 20 gauge?
I would like to know the finished overall thickness of a "0" frame stock. If someone would provide me with this thickness it would be greatly appreciated. I have looked and can not find any info as to stock thickness or dimensions by frame size. Thanks in advance.

An 0 frame can have buttplates of two different sizes. Number 1 and number 0. The 1 is wider. In the case of a 1 butt, the butt would be wider than the head, or close to the same width. And in the case of the 0 plate, the butt would be narrower than the head.
Generally speaking, the width of a shotgun stock blank should be ideally around 2” as this will allow for making most any size stock out of it. Providing that the stock does not require much cast and there is no cheap piece. I would consider 1-3/4” to be good for most 0 frame guns. But that width leaves very little excess wood to work with.
Forgive my not giving any specific measurements of heads or buttplates. I am replying from my armchair. No guns or parts are anywhere near me.
