Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Patience and lots of looking paid off....
I have been searching for a particular make up Parker that was within my budget and that could be hunted, not for a gun case collection (no offense to collectors here) for some time.
The gun was to be a 20ga. with 30 or 32" fluid steel barrels, either a straight (preferred) or pistol grip stock with dimensions close to "modern" and grade of GH. Well ya know how things go.... I kept my nose on a bunch of listings and on Wednesday last found something just about as I wanted.
Its a 1924 VH 20ga. pistol grip stock with 30" fluid (Vulcan) steel barrels, choked IC/Full. Double triggers of course. The gun has seen a good bit of use but is tight and still retains some Case color. The barrels ring but there is some wear evident on the blue. The wood is in great shape and shows some figure in the butt stock (I am not sure if it is a replacement or not) and the checkering seems good.
This gun comes from a very reputable dealer and after some talk on price I feel I did OK given the prices of some of the higher grade 20's and then those 32" barreled guns. I think this will certainly make a great dove and quail gun as well as a fun sporting clays 20ga. event gun.
My current plans are to shoot this gun now and perhaps this winter send it off to be redone with new blue and case color.
So, here ya go with some pics... comments welcome....
