Default Hello, new user and new PGCA Member from NJ

Hi All - I recent purchased my first Parker and felt it appropriate to join here. I'm looking for any helpful info on my new purchase 20ga Parker Side by Side, s/n 62793. I believe it's from the late 1800's or early 1900's. I joined the PGCA and will be ordering a letter for it shortly.

I am looking for a qualified gunsmith the inspect the gun to determine it's usability.....I'd like to use it as a pheasant / quail gun. Would anyone be able to suggest a good vintage sxs gunsmith in NJ - eastern PA - lower NY State?

Here's a couple of pics..... (if I can get the attachments to work)

Thanks in advance for your input!

It looks a bit beefy for a 20 gauge. Post pictures of the flats of the barrels and action with the gun disassembled and we may be able to give you some information. The gun is listed as a 12 gauge Damascus barrel gun in the serialization book. It is really a nice looking gun.

1890 production D grade. There are four entries in the record books. You should order a letter.
