Colorado Clays is the main place I shoot sporting clays. It's a fun 15 stand course along a cotton wood tree lined creek bottom. The best part is it ran by a group of super nice people, but being as it is the closest range to the northern Denver metro area it can get pretty busy at times and you need to check the calendar on their web site due to the spring/summer specialty shoots that close the range to the general public at time's.

Being as you're going to be staying in Colorado Springs, you might want to consider shooting at Kiowa creek which is SE of the metro area & north of the town of Kiowa. It's probably the overall nicest venue in Colorado that offers sporting clays & five stand. There's another course fairly close to Kiowa as well that you might want to consider. Both of these might be an easier shorter drive to get to from the Springs, with the consideration that driving I-25 from Castle Rock through Denver is a nightmare anymore & is a constant traffic jam all day long. Shooting the courses in Kiowa you can take less traveled roads with a more scenic drive.

Hope this helps some!
