Amen to that, Gary. Mine bought me a J.C. Higgins single shot .410.

I miss my Pop, but he's with me every day.

My maternal grandfather gave me my first, his 28 gauge American Gun Company hammer gun. it rests in the safe with the paternal grandfathers old hammer gun and my father's Remington 878.

My dad died of lou gherigs disease but not before introducing me to upland bird hunting with his 16 ga VH that was his dad's. I had Larry DelGrego restock it some 12 yrs ago. Still shoot that 16 today. Brngs back so many good memories.

I have a vague recollection you mentioned that gun before. You should post some pictures of it.
