Help With Grade

3 Attachment(s)
Hi All,

I searched through the threads and tried Google, but I'm not having any luck. I recently acquired a Parker that has been in the family since new and I do not know much about it. Interestingly it also has the original leather case (which I do not store the gun in) and cleaning rod. I've included two photos of the barrel and one of the receiver. If I need anything else, please let me know.

It has a Damascus barrel, birds on the receiver, cross hatches on the stock, and metal butt plate without any design on it.

Also, does the 5 subscript 10 mean it is a 10 gauge?

I appreciate any assistance.

Joseph, you have a grade 2 10 gauge. More modern term would be a "G" grade. The 5/10 is the unstruck barrel weight.... 5 lbs 10 oz. Gun should carry a pistol grip and 30" barrels.

Thank you! Does the D H mean anything. Is it a grade 2 D? Is that even an option?

The "D" is the stamp for Damascus barrels. The "H" is unknown, likely an inspection stamp. It is simply a Grade 2 Parker.
