Hello im looking for gun fitting and gun stock alteration near me in nc I have a browning Citori cxs that id love to have fitted to me im 5'7.

What needs to be fitted to you?

The length of pull is around 14 3/4 inches its one of the first o/u shotguns I ever bought but no necessary sentimental value though I just like for it to fit my short self lol

Have you looked to see if a stock thinner pad you could put on yourself would work? I don't know what the factory put on those.

I have found that many of the new brownings are very long as they come. I have had to shorten a few of them over the years for people.

I just had 2 done, both around 13 3/4 inch lop I am 5' 8"

And I am just the opposite. I am 6" 3" and everything I get is to short for me. It seems there are no reputable/competent stock fitters in my part of the country either.

Found a gun fitter and stock reshaper in Salisbury, NC company is PMS firearms Ill report back and inform y'all of my experience read good reviews so hopes are high.

The fitting went great and his work looks as good or better than factory Browning lop for this gun atleast came out to be 14 1/4" I would recommend him to anyone in the area or willing to make the drive. Price was reasonable as well $330 including a set of 12ga and a set of 20ga bore mop snap caps. Company is PMS firearms in Salisbury, NC.
