Parkers added in 2026??

Many opportunities to add to your Parker stable with some great auctions/sales in the first quarter. I did buy a very nice high condition DHE 1 1/2 frame 12 ga 30" gun from a good friend. Nothing else, but how about you??

David Livesay 03-28-2026 05:57 PM

Last month I bought a Trojan 12 ga. 28 in. barrels in very nice original condition.

Dan Steingraber 03-28-2026 06:40 PM

I bought a GHE 12 with 30” and 26” barrels and 2 lovely beavertails. The 30” barrels have Superfox type chokes. 5 1/2 to 6 inch tapered to .048 and .049 constriction.

12g VH straight gripper, DT, SFE, F/F with 34” bbls. It was a great birthday.

2. DHE 20 PG DT 26” tubes

Wood, someone decided the gun had too much drop. Im not sure yet how to handle this one. I think it would be a good candidate for a butt transplant but at the same time does the gun just deserve a whole new piece of wood.

The second set of barrels were added by Remington and have that massive Beaver tail, so I have a splinter forarm on the way (thank you Dean!).

Past that just a good health check is needed.

I currently have a 34 inch DHE at Will Brothers for basically a full restoration so I’m taking this one slow.

Not yet, good old post office says it’s “in transit”.

CraigThompson 03-29-2026 04:04 PM

I’ve sold several . Only gun I’ve purchased in 2026 was a 1964 Superposed 20 gauge 26 1/2” IC/M RKLT 3” . But it only stayed with me for about a month .

Granted I’m not you so we most likely won’t agree . But if mine I’d shoot it for awhile with the cobbled stock and if I was dead on with it and if so pretty much leave it alone except for a good cleaning and maybe add to the finish . If it didn’t fit me as is I’d get my stock guru buddy to bring it back to the original dimensions (he ‘s pretty adept at blending fix it combs with the original wood . But again that’s just me .

Last year I got two but nothing so far this year just some handguns but the Southern is quickly approaching:shock:

Mills Morrison 04-07-2026 11:59 AM

I'm actually down one this year so far.

Dean Romig 04-07-2026 12:15 PM

Does that mean you sold one Mills and haven’t bought two to replace it?

Mills Morrison 04-07-2026 12:17 PM

Amazingly it does.

So, 2 years ago, my brother and I attended the Vintagers shoot at Warrington as it was only 25 minutes from my house. It was our 1st multi-day SxS shoot. As everyone knows, the event was poorly run, but we had a blast. We watched the 8 ga five stand and saw how much fun everyone was having, and decided we needed to play along.
That has led to my recent addition to the stable.
8 ga DH with Damascus barrels.
Next on the list is to figure out a way to feed it.

Mills Morrison 04-08-2026 03:22 PM

Warrington was among the best annual meeting dinners. My son is still talking about it

Bill Murphy 04-08-2026 04:43 PM

PGCA had their annual meeting at the Warrington Vintagers? Refresh my memory.

2023 but it wasn’t at the Warrington club but rather at a resort called “The Allenberry” if memory serves .
