Garry, one small question… which special hammer gun did you have in mind?
I think, at this time it would have to be the Lifter bequeathed to me by the late, and previous to my tenure as editor, former editor of Parker Pages, Austin Hogan.
If only that marvelous gun could speak it would tell its own very interesting history.

My "Austin Hogan Lifter" is about my favorite shooting Parker. On a lark, I took it to a shoot where score is jealously kept. I shot the best score I had ever shot on that course, even when I had used my competition guns.
