When Dan Wesson gave up making shotguns, Blaze went to work for Parker. If he could forge laminated tubes, he could certainly forge twist tubes. I can’t prove it, but it seems likely that the “M” were his as well as the “P” stamps. Timeline fits and those two patterns are unlike any others.

It is a matter of record that Charles A King brought barrel makers from Britain to show Parker’s barrel makers the process. This couldn’t continue because Parker had to pay these immigrants thirty cents per hour… nearly twice the pay of Parker barrel makers… 1877, 78 and 79.
