From those of you that know, would a Damascus barrel's integrity be comprimised by having a dent raised? The dent was raised slightly above the original diameter of the barrel. The raised portion is not noticable to the naked eye, but can be felt while running your hand along the barrel. I am unsure of the depth, or length of the dent. Thanks for the information.

I don't believe any of us can say William.
It depends partially on how deep/large the dent was originally.
The wall thickness at the repair is critical.
It would help to know if it was raised by a barrel expert.
I personally would be apprehensive if it was raised using an hydraulic tool.

All these defects are where a dent was raised

A crease or a cut is much worse than a simple dent or small depression. Since the repair is not visible, I would be much more confident about the barrel than any of the above examples.
