I just want to say THANK YOU to a few folks....
To Kurt Densmore - whose rendition of one of his pictures now is on the main site at http://www.parkergun.org/ - wait for the page to automatically refresh for about 8 seconds - and you'll see a rendition of one of his terrific pics. Thank you Kurt for allowing me to use them (from a PM how many months ago??!!)! I'd like to change that out on a regular basis, as the season changes and events unfold..
To Jeff Kuss and Austin Hogan - THANK YOU for sending me your artwork!!! As a few of you have e-mailed me - yep - I changed out the main logo on the Forums this AM from one of Jeff's images, which is a truer copy of the original Parker Artwork. The images Austin sent me you'll see throughout the main site as well. Above Kurt's picture I referenced above - I took "editorial liberty" and used a compilation of artwork from Austin, Jeff - and my computer..
Best to you,
John

Nice work John.
May I suggest a change to the homepage of the new website?
OK, thanks.
On the column of tabs to the left, the tabs disappear off the bottom of my screen (and I have a 17" screen) so, I don't know what else lies below the edge of my screen. Considering the fact that more tabs may be added at some time, wouldn't it be better to allow that side column to scroll?
Thanks, Dean

Thanks back at you Jack and Dean..!
Dean - not a problem.. Can you PM me the resolution you are running (800x600, or 1024x768, or.. etc..? Also let me know the last link you see on the left menu, and I'll get it square, OK??)
My Best Always,
John

John, "Parker Identification" is the last tab that is completely visible for me. (maybe its my PC) I can just see the very tops of the letters on the next tab down but have no clue what they are.
Thanks for your dedication.
Dean
PS... 'scuse my ignorance but I have no idea how to determine the resolution my PC is running . . . help. . .

John,
The left column that scrolls is nice. I had the same problem as Dean and "Historical Information" was the last link I could see. My screen resolutions is 1024 x 768.
Dean, to find your screen resolution click on your "start" button on the lower left corner of your screen, then click "control panel", then click on "display", then you should have a pop-up called "display properties" click on the settings tab and your screen resolution is listed along with your color quality.

Hey Derrick!
My thanks for the assist with Dean and the comments about the scroll bar.. It should "only" appear for folks whose resolution requires it - so, Dean - if it's still not showing since the change last evening I made, try this...
Go to:
http://parkergun.org
and it should open as a "new site (notice there is no "www" at the beginning). All I'm doing is "fooling" your browser to thinking it should "reload" the page for you... If that doesn't work, go ahead and again - open the link and then hit "F5" - and it should "refresh" the page (with Internet Explorer) or "Ctrl R" to refresh if you are running Firefox...
I'll check back when I come home from work, OK??
Best to you - and thanks again Derrick!

I'm at work right now catching up on some urgent paperwork. . . flu knocked me off my feet Weds. pm and Thurs. When I get home I'll try it and let you know how it works for me. If worse comes to worst, by this time next week I'll be up and running on Verizon FIOS with my new HP laptop. . . (I'm excited ) then there should be no more of these issues.

Hi Dave!
OK - on the left, you *should* see a list of text starting with "PGCA Information - Membership - about -...."??? Those text items are actually "links" that will open when clicked..
I just checked this AM (sorry - I hit the sack early last night, so didn't see your message 'till this AM ).. If you don't see those text links - try to refresh your browser - then let me know, OK?? I should be back late this afternoon - so I'll check back with you then..!
Also - just to be sure - you can try the main page as a direct link by clicking here - just in case
http://www.parkergun.org/index.html
Best to ya'!!
