I am leaving Wednesday  to go down to Deep River. I will not be at my computer tomorrow. There is a Board of Directors meeting Thursday. I will be tied up all day Thursday with the BOD meeting. I will not arrive at Deep River until Friday morning. Jim Hall is bringing down the display and will arrive midday Thursday. He will get the booth set up Thursday afternoon. Jim could use some help setting up for those arriving early.

We will start Registration for Event 1 Friday morning at 8:00 AM. Event 1 will start at 12:00 noon Friday with Parker having the 12:00  time and Smith having 12:20. Event 1 will continue until sometime around noon Saturday. Event 2 will start around 3:00 PM Saturday afternoon.

Registration for the Hammer gun Event will start Friday morning. You can register for both at the same time. The Hammer gun event will start Sunday morning around 8:30.  You may want to arrive at 8:00 or a little earlier.

I understand there will be two 5 stands down at the dove field. One will be for the Challenge and the other will be for practice to anyone. The Challenge 5 stand will be open for practice Friday until about 11:30 and the targets will be changed for Event 1 which starts at 12:00 noon.  The targets will be changed again for Event 2.

The tents will be different from the last several years. Our booth will be in the tent that is closer to the dove field. Our booth will be on the end of the tent.

The weather forcast looks great. This should be a great time and I hope everyone enjoys the shoot.

Mark

Thanks, Mark.  I had heard about the expanded and relocated vendors' tents.  Our new location should make our registration and shooting much more convenient.  We are all looking forward to the big event.

I would also suggest you print off the rules before you come. We will have copies there when you sign up.

There will also be a board that will list the high shooters as the score cards are turned in. Please keep your eye on it so you will know if you advance to Event 2.  The LCSCA made the board but included our shooters on it along with theres. It will be somewhere around our two booths.

You may also want to keep your eyes open for the 34 inch guns. They have some fine shooters behind them. Oh, those poor Smith boys!

We also have the Oscar Gaddy award for the highest score with a Damascus or composite steel barrel gun. Please tell us when you register if you are shooting a Damascus barrel gun. The overall highest score wins.
