This is a pic of the first unofficial Parker Pheasant Shoot. Five of us got together in mid November and hunted the wild bird ! From left, Bruce Day, Chris Pflaum, Pete Day and seated, Pete Kappes. I am the one holding the camera. There were 10 Parker guns to shoot and 2 Benelli autos to chuckle at! Best, Paul N

Hello Destry, Why don't you come join the fun next year? The food is great as is the cameraderie (sp ?)WE saw and shot lots of birds. There are great "Parker sessions" in the evening and some of us like JD some Merlot and some Glenlivet.....Just bring a Parker!! Best, Paul N

I'm sure it's a great trip but I'm too fat to chase bird dogs like I've mentioned before.
Plus I'm going back to Scotland for more plover and wildfowl shooting, hopefully for two weeks this time, and them maybe on to Northern Ireland for curlew.
Then I'm thinking of trying for a swan in North Carolina or maybe cranes in Texas later in the season.
Plus Jeff is cooking up some kind of a possible brant hunting expedition, my buddy Dave is about to kill me because I haven't been out to hunt with him on the Columbia River in three years, and the list goes on....
Just too many waterfowl hunts and not enough time or money to do them all.
You boys chase the roosters and quail, I'll hold down the shorebird and duck shooting stuff that you're not taking care of. It's a tough trade to make but I'm willing to take up the slack. *wink*
Regards,
Destry

Hello Hick, I just browse my A drive which is a floppy disc. Choose a pic and double click it to attach. Now my old camera is a Sony that stores pics right on the floppy so your format might be different. Notice the pics are a little fuzzy. My camera is the problem even on fine it isn't fine. I put up this pic just to see if it would work twice! also my pics are stored as jpg files. thats about as far as my computer genius goes. Hope this helps. best, Paul
PS how about you guys can you add anything ?

Yeah, right beside the birch bark candle I would add a cute little ruffed grouse candle... and maybe a half-empty Jack Daniels candle... Last edited on Sun Jan 16th, 2005 07:03 pm by Dean Romig

There is nothing wrong with that picture that couldn't be fixed with 1 1/8 oz of # 8's.
