I thought this was a bit unusual for D grade engraving...

Is that the upgraded 28 gauge, that is way over priced?

I have seen other D-grades from that era in which the engraving was very nice. Very deep scroll work with birds and dogs that are very un-cartoonish looking.

Dave gets the prize...that is if you think $36,000 is "overpriced"...I know of a real one that changed hands last week, 30" DHE 28g  (00 frame, I think) traded for a 3 bbl set CSMC M21 20g...hmmmm, some would question the wisdom of that transaction...

A beautiful probably 20 gauge Damascus gun sleeved very invisibly, remarked rib.  Possibly upgraded.  It is the nicest example of a fake I have ever seen and I want it.  Dave, where did you see this gun for sale?  I hope my friend Don owns it so I can look at it.

I missed the previous posts.  I think I also get a prize that I would be willing to share with Dave.  Where can I see the evidence of the sale of this gun?  I would like to know who did this work.  Oh my gosh, did it come out of Southern PA?

I had the impression, by the tone of the posts, that the gun had been sold.  Nice gun.  I still want to know who did the work.
